Welcome to the 2020 BBYO International Convention Staffing Site!  Thank you for your interest in being part of our staff for what is sure to be an awesome week fueled by some amazing youth from around the world.  Before you are able to begin signing up for shifts you must create an account using the REGISTER button to the right.  After your FREE account is created, you will then be able to log-in, see all available shifts and choose which ones best fit your availability.  All positions will be PAID starting at $18/hour!! Should you have any questions at all, please reach out directly to jveres@imprintgroup.com.  

Requirements:

  • You MUST be 20 years of age or older in order to be part of the staff.
  • All staff will be provided a BBYO t-shirt and can wear professional black, grey, blue or khaki bottoms.
  • You will be asked to arrive 20min prior to the start of your first shift of the day to sign in and get any updates prior to starting. 
  • Most shifts are broken into 4 hour or 6 hour time slots. Please feel free to sign up for back to back shifts - in fact we encourage it! 
  • If you have previous experience in events or any experience with the positon tasks please let us know. We will be picking leads for various positions/times and compensation will be an additional $5/hr 
  • There will be a MANDATORY training that will take no more than 1-2 hours. We will schedule several training times in the evening Monday 2/10. 

Available Positions: 

  • Event Set Up / Strike Staff
    • You will be a Runner for Shipping/ Receiving/ Moving /Set-Up / Strike teams as needed. Tasks may include some lifting or moving boxes, organizing supplies, assisting with putting together simple items, ect.
    • Compensation starts at $18/hr 
  • Event Support Staff 
    • This position will cover various needs at the Hilton Anatole for the event. Tasks for this position include, crowd control during high traffic times, registration assistance, badge checking, answering questions, giving directions, and helping get teens organized to load & depart on busses. Friendly, yet confident and strong personality recommended for this position.  
    • Please note any previous event staff experience if any as we will assign tasks based on experience - you could be eligible for a lead position
    • Compensation starts at $18/hr *Available leads positions for additional $5/hr
  • Airport Staff (DFW and Love Airport) 
    • This position will be the liaison to all BBYO students and staff flying in from across the world.  The tasks for this position could include directional assistance, managing small groups of students waiting for shuttles, communicating with bus drivers, and working with BBYO staff to ensure we get all students to the Hilton.
    • Previous Transportation experience or experience at the airports strongly encouraged. Lead positions are available 
    • Compensation starts at $19/hr *Available leads positions for additional $5/hr
  • Hotel Room Checks Staff 
    • You will be positioned at the elevators and hallways to ensure that all students are returning to their rooms and are not visiting other rooms in the evenings 
    • Previous security or event staff experience prefered. Lead positions are available. 
    • Compensation starts at $19/hr *Available leads positions for additional $5/hr

**Please note that certain shifts will require a background check for which we will cover the cost.  This is to ensure the safety and security of all of our staff, volunteers and of course the students themselves.
